really not very interesting, but it's been a while so I should post

I guess I haven't been feeling the blog love lately. School and my constantly-in-motion child have been keeping me busy. I was asked to do a little more contract-type work today for the music teaching job, so that was fun. I like getting paid. Adam's mom has been out of town this week so I've had to find other brave souls to take Shea while I've been at class or working. Adam watched her on Tuesday, she went over to her cousin's (2.5 year old) house yesterday, and this morning she went to a friend's house who has two little ones. Thankfully, Shea has done great! She loves other kids, particularly older ones. I left 4 oz of milk for her today and she drank it out of a sippy cup without issue. MIRACLE! Well, she's 9 months (sidenote: holy cow!) so I guess that probably doesn't sound like a miracle, but it is.

Bonus: a bunch of random thoughts.

1. Tonight the dog was being annoying by trying to eat something he shouldn't, so I said, "Charlie, NO!" Shea looked at him and said, "NAH!" Oh boy. Don't need to encourage that one.

2. I haven't used shampoo in two weeks. I'm "no 'poo-ing" as they say... kind of a science experiment on my own head!

3. I should be studying, but I'm blogging instead.

4. Maybe I should be sleeping instead of writing a really boring blog post.

Ok, I'll admit - I'm intrigued. I'm almost curious enough to try no-pooing.... I want to see a picture of what your hair looks like right now after 2 weeks of no shampoo first :-D

Once puberty hit, my hair became very oily and was that way for several years, but once I hit my mid-20s, it returned to a much less oily state. I still shampoo though. I don't really get the no shampooing thing, but to each him/her own I guess. I'd have to have a professional verify some of the information on that site for me before I'd believe it.

Today when I told Paisley "no" she shook her head at me and said "nah" (and then laughed hysterically) I think your daughter taught mine a new trick... :)
